For this task, we had to take part in an online course developed by FutureLearn. This involved a variety of activities such as watching videos, answering quizzes, reading articles and producing our own ideas and notes on a serious issue that was up for discussion. I found this method of learning extremely useful, although I had not previously took part in any MOOC courses. Continue reading “Online Learning”

The use of online resources to learn is of the utmost importance for me as a student as it means I can facilitate my learning in a professional way. I’m very good at being enthusiastic at the start and then drifting off when something else comes up. I need a big scary deadline to keep me motivated and with independent learning you don’t get that.  Continue reading “Learning Online”

For this task I had to join and complete an online course from Leeds University. In this course, I read articles and watched videos on communication and at the end I took section quizzes. I have never done an online course before but was excited as it was a new thing for me to do. Also it will help me gain experience on what people at university do and how they study and communicate with their lecturers between lessons and on days off. I liked this as I want to go to university, I felt integrated into their way of studying. Continue reading “Doing a MOOC”
